Dr. Taylor Chick grew up in Ann Arbor and after graduating from Huron High School, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History and Comparative Cultures while taking her science pre-requisites to apply to dental school. Dr. Chick graduated in 2022 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, becoming the fourth-generation dentist in her family along with her sister, Kelly Chick. During her time at UMSOD, she received the Michigan Dental Plan Board’s William J. Nicholson Memorial Scholarship, the MDA’s Robert Mitus Scholarship, and the MDA’s Washtenaw District Dental Society Scholarship. She also received the Michigan Periodontal Alumni Association Award for Preventative Periodontal Excellence and enjoyed being the co-president of the American Association for Women Dentists. She loves providing oral health care and building lasting relationships with her patients. Outside the office, Dr. Chick likes to spend time with her husband, Ben Royce, their corgi, Ginny, and their miniature long haired dachshund, Oliver. They like to take their two dogs for "adventures" on the walking trails in Ann Arbor and enjoy cooking, baking and traveling. Dr. Chick also loves to read and would love to chat books with you!
